The Conforming Ball Search function allows you to find out whether a certain model of ball is included on the Conforming Ball List.  This List and search function is updated on the first Wednesday of every month.

Committees in charge of competitions restricted to highly-skilled golfers can require, as a Condition of Competition, that a player’s ball is included on this List.
