About WAGR

WAGR has been “live” since 2007 and has quickly become recognised as the world’s pre-eminent amateur golf ranking system, with numerous event organisers using it as an entry criterion for their events.

If you’re unsure about the way the World Amateur Golf Rankings are calculated, information contained in this section should be able to answer your questions.

WAGR System

Men’s WAGR encompasses more than 1,800 counting events, ranking over 5,000 players representing 70 countries worldwide. Women’s WAGR has a calendar of 1,350 counting events with over 3,100 ranked players representing 50 countries worldwide.
