Ball Against Moveable Obstruction

Ball Against Movable Obstruction (Rule 24-1b) – Often when playing golf, your ball will come to rest against a movable obstruction such as a rake or distance marker post. Sometimes your ball may not be actually against the movable obstruction but close enough to it that it interferes with your stance or swing. You may remove the obstruction, and if your ball moves as a direct result, you must replace your ball in its original position.
