The List of Conforming Driver Heads identifies the models and lofts of all post-1998 driver heads that have been submitted for evaluation to The R&A and/or the United States Golf Association and been determined to conform to the 2008 edition of the Rules of Golf. It is updated by 00:01 (GMT) every Monday. Any driver marketed prior to 1 January 1999 is considered to be conforming and on this List unless specifically ruled otherwise.

 

The entire List may be downloaded in PDF format (sorted alphabetically either by manufacturer or product name) or it may be searched by manufacturer, product name, and/or markings (ie specific graphics on the sole, back, crown, etc). There is also a search option for recent additions to the List, which will limit results to those clubs added to the List after the supplied date. The List is approximately 350 pages long, if printed in full.

 

When using this List, close attention should be paid to the "Markings" column. This column details the exact markings on each clubhead listed and this is the information needed to identify the club in question or each model of club, as distinguishable from another.

Please be aware that there may be only subtle differences between the markings on two different models of driver - one of which could be conforming and one of which might be on the non-conforming list. If all of the markings of a club on the List do not match exactly to a clubhead that is in question, it is likely that it is a different model and you should check the Non-conforming Driver List. An image of each model of driver included on this List is available through the searchable online database, by clicking the 'View Photo' link. For models with multiple lofts, only one loft will appear in the image. Please note that the image is only of the sole of the club and, therefore, it should only be used as a cross-check against the markings on the sole. The sole markings alone are not enough to conclude that the clubhead in question is the model listed.
