The Women's Amateur Championship is one of the leading championships in amateur golf for female golfers.
The championship, founded in 1893, attracts an international field with an impressive list of former winners including McCormack Medal winner Leona Maguire and major champions Georgia Hall and Anna Nordqvist.
144 players from all over the world, will compete in the 36 hole qualifying stage which will be played over Hunstanton on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 June 2022.
The top 64 players (plus ties) will then battle, head to head, in the knock out match play stages. These begin at Hunstanton on Wednesday 22 June and conclude with a 36 hole Final on Saturday 20 June.
The winner gains entry to the AIG Women’s Open, US Women’s Open, The Evian Championship and Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship.
Spectators are welcome and tickets are free.

20-21 June – Qualifying – 18 hole stroke play each day
22 June – Round 1 – 18 hole match play
23 June – Round 2 and Round 3 – 18 hole match play
24 June – Quarter Final and Semi Final – 18 hole match play
25 June – Final – 36 hole match play
Please note for the Final the first 18 holes will tee off at 8.30am with the final 18 holes commencing at 1pm.
