The R&A to host Level 3 TARS in England

The R&A will host a Level 3 Tournament Administrators and Referees Seminar in May 2019.  The Level 3 Seminar includes practical demonstrations on the Rules of Golf and presentations on topics related to running events such as course set-up, suspension of play, starting and recording, pace of play and other useful aspects of tournament administration.  The cost of attending the Seminar is GBP £175.

Opportunity to sit Level 3 Exam

The Seminar is aimed primarily at those who are already administering and refereeing tournaments or who have a strong desire to do so in the future and have yet to attend an R&A Level 3 Seminar in St. Andrews or abroad.

Ideally, all attendees will have participated in a Rules programme at national level in their own countries and have a good level of Rules knowledge to benefit from this Seminar.

The programme includes the Level 3 Exam; therefore, delegates will be expected to undertake some study of the 2019 Rules of Golf in advance to be prepared.  A Preparation Guide will be provided to assist with this.
