Grant Moir, Director – Rules at The R&A, has been giving viewers a unique take on the Rules that govern the playing of the sport by using various props in his garden – from sand pits to shoes – to highlight situations such as unplayable lies, penalty areas and more.
Useful insight
This Friday (29 May) now sees a special episode of ‘Rules from the Garden: #AskGrant’ as The R&A premieres a bumper length video on both YouTube and Facebook.
After The R&A encouraged social media followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to #AskGrant with their questions, Moir will host the Rules Q&A in the company of presenter George Harper Jnr.
Moir will answer a host of questions, including from players turned broadcasters Dottie Pepper and Frank Nobilo, give his experiences of working at The Open and provide more useful insight – again from his garden.
Interactive
The screening will also be interactive, with viewers able to use the comments section on YouTube and Facebook to pose questions.
Follow The R&A’s social media platforms for more information – and make sure you tune in at 3pm on Friday for the special ‘Rules from the Garden’!
