• Women’s Golf Day will be held virtually on 3rd June
As part of its commitment to encouraging more women and girls to play golf, The R&A will provide support to the Women’s Golf Day (WGD).
Now in its fifth year, Women’s Golf Day will be celebrated, virtually, on June 3 2020, with entertaining videos from across the world of golf, social media engagement and a global charity auction supporting Médecins sans Frontiers / Doctors without Borders (MSF).
The physical event is currently scheduled to take place on September 1st, subject to international healthcare guidelines.
In 2019, over 900 locations in 52 countries held WGD events. With The R&A’s support the campaign aims to continue growing around the world by encouraging more locations to register events and inspiring more women to take up or return to the sport.
