R&A sustainability seminar in China
Beijing event to focus on golf developments, renovations and course management.
The R&A is to host a free to attend seminar in China that promotes responsible and practical approaches to golf course design, renovation and maintenance - highlighting the ongoing work of the industry in raising the expectations for golf. This seminar will provide the most comprehensive sustainable education event in Asia across golf developments, renovations and course management.
The R&A Seminar on Sustainable Golf Course Design, Renovation and Maintenance in Asia will be held in Beijing on 3 and 4 March, as part of the China Golf Show at the National Convention Centre.
This event, delivered for course developers, owners, architects, general managers and superintendents, will explore a range of topics which address the opportunities within the sport and how we set a new platform for sustainable golf in Asia. Leading international and local speakers will include Dominic Wall, Director – Asia Pacific at The R&A; Steve Isaac, Director – Golf Course Management at The R&A; Hu Lin, Professor at China Agricultural University (TBC); Micah Woods, Chief Scientist at Asian Turfgrass Center; Paul Jansen, Owner of Jansen Golf Course Design & Construction; Lu Jun, Golf Course Architect at Condor Golf (TBC) and Jonathan Smith, Chief Executive at Golf Environment Organization.
