The R&A - Working for Golf

Student Golf

The R&A provides support to 17 Universities to assist with the delivery of their golf programmes. Fourteen of the Universities supported are based in GB&I with Halmstad, Malaga and Pretoria also receiving funding.  In addition, The R&A Foundation Scholarship programme supports in the region of 170 individuals, each year. 

Individual applicants for Foundation scholarships must be in full-time tertiary education. Male applicants must hold a handicap of +1 or better, while female applicants must be 2 or below. Applications will also be considered from players who have been selected for a national team or squad, even if they do not meet the handicap requirements. Students based in the USA will not be considered for R&A Scholarships.

The application process for 2019/2020 is now open and applicants must complete the form, in full, using the link below.  The closing date for applications is Monday 14 October.
