In our latest episode, introduced by Shane Lowry, we recap:
  • Curtis Cup: We learn about the collaboration between The R&A and USGA to stage the Curtis Cup. The 44th staging of the match was held in Bel-Air in June. Team USA won the match 13–7 to retain the trophy.
  • Amateur Championships: In the UK, we hosted two elite amateur events: The Men's Amateur Championship at Royal Liverpool and West Lancashire golf clubs, and The Women's Amateur Championship at Muirfield. Walker Cup star Stuart Grehan claimed victory in the men's championship on 20 June, while French ace Valentine Delon was crowned champion in the women's event the following week.
  • The R&A Foundation: We showcase the story of Yolanda Duma, whom The R&A has helped obtain a PGA qualification through the Women and Golf Bursary Sponsorship. The South African now hopes to help the next generation of golfers succeed.
