Friendly and fast, The R&A Coronation Foursomes competition is open to mothers and daughters, friends and family members.

Clubs are invited to host a qualifying round of The R&A Coronation Foursomes competition between 1 December 2025 and 25 June 2026. The entry fee is £6 per pair (Euro equivalent). Please enter your winning pair into their chosen area final HERE. The closing date for entries is 25 June 2026 at 11:59pm. 16 Area Finals will take place across Great Britain & Ireland in July and August 2026. The winning pair from each Area Final will qualify for the Grand Final on the Eden Course, St Andrews, on Monday 21 September 2026.  Grand Finalist Experience Finalists will enjoy: 
  • Two nights’ accommodation at the five-star Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, St Andrews 
  • Gala Dinner at the Old Course Golf Hotel & Spa 
  • Welcome Reception in the World Golf Museum 
  • All reasonable travel expenses
Almost 19,000 women and girls from just short of 1,000 clubs entered in 2025 with the Irish duo of Marie Walls and Michelle Hughes emerging triumphant in the Grand Final. The pair from Kilkeel Golf Club posted a winning score of 40 stableford points after gelling expertly in an excellent showing at the Eden Course. That was enough for a five-point victory.

Eden Course, St Andrews

Local qualifying takes place at clubs across Great Britain and Ireland, with players coming through one of 16 Area Finals in a bid to seal their spot in St Andrews. The Final is staged on the Eden Course where finalists will also enjoy staying at the prestigious Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa as part of the Grand Final experience.
