Pilar Golf in Buenos Aires, Argentina will host the 2023 Women’s Amateur Latin America championship presented by The R&A and ANNIKA Foundation from 15-18 November.
The third edition of the championship will feature the region’s most talented women’s amateur golfers and the winner will earn exemptions into the AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews, The Chevron Championship at The Club at Carlton Woods and The Amundi Evian Championship at Evian Resort Golf Club in 2024.
Mark Lawrie, Director – Latin America and the Caribbean at The R&A, said, “Pilar Golf is a renowned venue that will present a tough but fair challenge for the leading women’s amateur golfers from Latin America.
“We look forward to staging another memorable championship there and seeing who emerges from a talented field to become champion and earn exemptions into three major championships.”
“I look forward to getting back to Pilar Golf for the third edition of the Women’s Amateur Latin America,” says Annika. “It has been so enjoyable to work with The R&A and very gratifying to see the prestige of this event grow in the region in such a short period of time. We can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
