Thrilling moments at Sunningdale
Some thrilling editions of the Championship have been played at Sunningdale including Webb’s record score of 269 in 1997 which was matched by Stupples in 2004. Stupples began her final round in impressive fashion with an eagle and an albatross to be five-under-par after two holes, her 64 is still the lowest final round by an AIG Women’s Open champion.
