Jack Buchanan put in a commanding performance to win the Africa Amateur Championship by six shots, while Lisa Coetzer was triumphant in the Africa Amateur Women's Invitational, winning by two. The third edition of the Africa Amateur Championship took place at Royal Johannesburg, South Africa, from 4-7 February 2026. Its renowned East Course is a distinguished championship layout that has welcomed Africa's top male and female amateur golfers in the past and boasts a rich history of hosting elite events, including ten South African Open Championships and the Joburg Open.
