Ball at rest moved or lifted - By wind, water or other natural forces
If natural forces (such as wind or water) cause your ball at rest to move, there is no penalty, and your ball must be played from its new spot. Exception 1 – If your ball on the putting green moves after you have already lifted and replaced it, the ball must be replaced on its original spot (which if not known must be estimated). Exception 2 – If you put a ball into play by dropping, placing or replacing it, and natural forces cause the ball at rest to move and come to rest in another area of the course, the ball must be replaced on its original spot (which if not known must be estimated).
