The third edition of the Africa Amateur Championship is taking place at Royal Johannesburg, South Africa, from 4-7 February 2026. The historic Royal Johannesburg was granted its "Royal" status by King George V in 1931 and is considered one of the most prestigious parkland courses the country. Its renowned East Course is a distinguished championship layout that has welcomed Africa's top male and female amateur golfers in the past and boasts a rich history of hosting elite events, including ten South African Open Championships and the Joburg Open.
