Each February The R&A Rules Team host the annual Tournament Administrators and Referees School (TARS) at the Fairmont Hotel in St Andrews, and 2026 was no different. Spanning four days in late February, the seminar brought 67 delegates representing 40 federations, associations and professional tours together to help develop and hone their skills in a number of areas relating to refereeing and tournament administration on The R&A Level 3 Rules Education syllabus.
