Elite amateur players competing in Europe have an additional chance to qualify for the AIG Women’s Open.The best performing player across The AIG Women's Open Amateur Series, a sequence of three elite amateur championships, will gain a place to compete at Royal Porthcawl from 31 July to 3 August.This will be determined by World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®) points secured at The St Rule Trophy, The Women’s Amateur Championship and the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship.

European Ladies’ Amateur Championship, Frankfurter, Germany: 23-26 July
The Amateur Series exemptions are in addition to a number of other exemptions available for amateur players to reach the two major championships, including by virtue of winning The Amateur and European equivalents.
