The R&A Women’s Senior Amateur Championship was first played in 1981 and is open to players aged 50 years and over.
For the first time, the R&A Women’s and Men’s Senior Amateur championships were played concurrently at Royal Dornoch in 2022 – with Mike McCoy and Terrill Samuel crowned winners. That new format continues at Saunton in 2024.Recruitment
