Many of the world’s most talented golfers with disabilities competed in The G4D Open between 14-16 May 2026.

Simon Seungmin Lee from the Republic of Korea and Germany’s Jennifer Sräga enjoyed memorable first victories at Celtic Manor Resort. Both the men’s and women’s championships provided drama to the final hole in Wales before Lee and Sräga narrowly prevailed over the Roman Road Course. The Welsh venue hosted the event in 2026 for the first time with the competition returning in 2027 and 2028. The annual event is staged in partnership with The R&A and the DP World Tour and with 80 players competing. EDGA, formerly the European Disabled Golf Association, has been involved in the development of the Championship and will continue to support in an advisory role.
