Greenkeeping Scholarships
The R&A Foundation’s Greenkeeping Scholarship Programme supports greenkeepers to develop innovative sustainability skills, course development experience and landscape management expertise.
To date, we have supported over 500 scholars from more than 30 countries to access professional development, practical experience and career opportunities.
Golf Course 2030
The R&A’s Golf Course 2030 initiative is a research and innovation programmethat develops evidence-based best practices. This work includes scientific research into biodiversity value, natural resource use, climate impact and sustainable agronomy techniques.
Its findings will future-proof courses and ensure they can play their part in mitigating the impact of climate change, whilst developing conservation methodologies which will have impact far beyond the game.
